The number of scholarships and the dollar amount of each scholarship is at the discretion of the Board with a minimum amount of $1000.00 going to each of the three districts that BBTC serves. The three Service Areas are:
Naknek/King Salmon/South Naknek: That area defined by the boundaries of the
Bristol Bay Borough.
Kvichak area include the communities of Igiugig and Levelock.
Nushagak area include the communities of Ekwok, New Stuyahok, and Koliganek.
Scholarship applicants may reapply for the BBTC scholarship every year they are in school.
Eligibility
High School Graduate;
A resident of one of the three service areas listed above at the time of original application;
Planning to attend an in-state or out-of-state post-secondary academic or vocational program at a college, university, technical school, trade school, or vocational school.
Applications must arrive at the BBTC office on or before 4:30 p.m. April 15. No late applications will be accepted. Applications must be mailed, emailed, faxed, or hand delivered to BBTC's King Salmon Office. If mailing your application, allow plenty of time for mail delivery.
The following information is required in order to process the scholarship to the chosen recipients. The scholarship award check cannot be issued until this information is received by the Bristol Bay Telephone Cooperative, Inc.

Student ID assigned to you by your college or university
Financial Aid Office address and Contact information
* If we do not receive the requested information by October 3rd, the scholarship will be rescinded and awarded to the alternate.
